What is Thermodynamics System ?

"Thermodynamics system is a region of space which is to be taken in consideration for thermal analysis."

Thermodynamics is very important subject for engineering and specially for mechanical engineering.

Type of Thermodynamics System

We can divide thermodynamics system into mainly three parts.

·         Open System

·          Close System

·         Isolated System

Open System:-

                                                In this system mass transfer is possible and heat transfer is also heat transfer is also possible.

Close System:-

                                                In this system mass transfer is not possible but heat transfer is possible.

Isolated System:-

                                                In this type of system mass transfer and heat transfer both are not possible.
