can classify signal in many way . Here we classify signal in two parts.

Continuous time signal.

Discrete time signal.
Continuous time signal.
If
value of a signal is available at all instance of time then its known as continuous
time signal.
Discrete time signal.
Value
of a signal is available only at discrete instant of time then its known as discrete
time signal.
