Generally high speed motors are more efficient
then lower speed motors.
Type of Motor

What is type of motor is affect to efficiency.
For example- Slip ring motor is less
efficient then Squirrel cage motor.
Load

If loading is very less or high then rated load
then is may reduce efficiency of motor.
Temperature
·
Temperature is inversely prepositional to
resistance so at higher temperature there will more losses across And
temperature also effect other parameters like on magnetic circuit , expansion
of marital etc.
Age of Motor

After some age of motor efficiency can decrease.
Capacity of Motor

At rated capacity motor give good efficiency

decreased.
